C-levels

Core C-Level Roles

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO): The highest-ranking officer, responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and major business decisions. The CEO serves as the primary face of the company to the public and investors. (POSITION FILLED)
  
• Chief Operating Officer (COO): manages an organization’s daily operations, ensuring efficient execution of business strategies, overseeing departments like production, sales, and personnel, and acting as the second in command to the CEO, often serving as their strategic partner and internal leader. The COO’s role focuses on operational excellence, resource management, process improvement, and risk mitigation, making sure the company runs smoothly and achieves its goals. The primary steward of the company’s financial health, overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management. They work closely with the CEO to weigh the financial risks and benefits of new opportunities. (POSITION FILLED)
  
• Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO): A Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO) is a C-suite executive overseeing a company’s production, focusing on efficient processes, workforce, resources, and quality to align manufacturing with business goals. A CMO’s core function is driving manufacturing excellence, managing supply chains, and integrating new technologies for maximized output and profitability. (POSITION FILLED)
• Chief Strategy Officer (CSO): Focuses on long-term strategic planning, identifying new market opportunities, and assessing risks. Also responsible for global political affairs (local, state, and federal), all Theron company-related Political Action Committees (PACs), Super PACs, and Super PAC issue advocacy and advertising. (POSITION FILLED)
  
• Chief Revenue Officer (CRO): Oversees all aspects of revenue generation, aligning sales, marketing, and customer success. In private corporations, a Director of Revenue (or Revenue Management/Cycle Director) maximizes financial performance by optimizing pricing, inventory, and sales strategies. Unlike government roles focused on tax collection, these corporate leaders, often found in hospitality, finance, or large enterprises, analyze demand, manage billing operations, and implement strategies to boost revenue. D-levels

Core D-Level Roles  

• Director of Technology Officer & Director of Information Officer (DTO/DIO): While sometimes combined, these roles are increasingly distinct. The DT typically focuses on external technology and product development, while the DI focuses on internal IT systems and infrastructure.
• Director of Marketing Officer (DMO): Leads the marketing department, brand management, and customer acquisition strategies.
• Director of Human Resources (DHR): Also called the Chief People Officer, they oversee talent strategy, culture, and employee engagement.
• Director of Information Security (DIS): Specifically responsible for cybersecurity and protecting digital assets from threats.
• Director of Digital Management (DDM): Manages an organization’s digital transformation and adoption of new technologies.
• Director of Sustainability Officer (DSO): (Oversees environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs and sustainable business practices.
• Director of Artificial Intelligence (DAI): A rapidly emerging role responsible for AI strategy, governance, and integration.
• Director of Compliance Officer (DCO): Ensures the company meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Director of Legal Officer (DLO): Often referred to as General Counsel, they handle all of the company’s legal affairs.
